Squeeze one in

Where did July go? I can’t believe how quickly the month has passed. Almost a whole 31 days without a post on ww4f… better squeeze this one in.

To be honest, my well of writing ideas has run pretty low recently. When I drop a coin in all I hear is a very slight and very pitiful plop as it reaches the bottom. As, I’m sure, you can tell from this post, my inspiration has been lacking.

Funnily enough, during the second and third week of July I didn’t have this problem. In fact my mind was awash with a whole orgy of new ideas for short stories, scripts, etc.

I feverishly tried to note down as much as I could in notebooks and my phone, but was not able to catch every idea as they thundered from my mental blowhole. What was difference? I was on my holidays.

Two weeks of not thinking about tyres and servicing and motoring and SEO and affiliates and reports and emails and all that comes with work obviously did my imagination some good…

I was hoping to carry the momentum of those two weeks into the rest of this month, but I’ve been slowed down lately by the untimely breakage of my laptop – which I’m still paying for!

How did it break? Beer spillage. To make matters worse, it was the first drink of the evening, so I wasn’t even drunk. I think that makes it worse.

Anyway, seen as this post doesn’t really seem to contain much/any coherent subject matter I will end it.
