My name is James Harding and I am passionate about writing.

Right now you may be thinking – “ok, nice little statement, but it doesn’t tell me if you are any good.”

That’s fair enough, I would be thinking the same thing if I were in your shoes (don’t worry I am not wearing your shoes - that would be weird).

I loved writing at school so naturally when I first went to University, it was to study computing (!) After a year and a half I realised it wasn’t for me and left.

Confused as to what I should do next, I decided to follow what I loved – six months later I started a Creative Writing degree in Carlisle.

After completing my degree with a 2:1 in 2009, I was hired by the UK’s leading online tyre retailer – Blackcircles.com - as an Online/SEO executive (basically a mixture of an online copywriter and a SEO dude).

My time there has allowed me to shape and enhance the raw writing talent developed as a student and today I have a strong versatile style which can be adapted to any task.

As well as my work with Blackcircles.com I have also created website content for several small businesses.

You may have noticed by now that I’m a one-man band of sorts. I am not a we. I am a me, a he and if need really be – a she. So, if you are looking for a big corporate style agency, then I am afraid you won’t find that here.
